Leonisa celebrates their 65th anniversary in style

Colombian intimate apparel brand Leonisa has officially been around for 65 years! Established in Latin America in 1956, the brand continues to be family owned and vertically integrated, creating 90% of their own materials and 100% of their own garments in the Americas, under fair labor practices. Sustainability has always been important to the brand, even before it was cool. Leonisa operates under 4 pillars: Love for the Planet, Love for the Creations, Love for the Soul, and Love for the People. These pillars illustrate Leonisa’s commitment to water management, improving air quality, saving energy, reducing material waste, creating high-tech pieces designed to last a lifetime, providing resources in order to balance mind and body, and improving the quality of life for their employees and communities alike.

What began as a small company that made and sold bras to Colombian women has evolved into a global company with a presence in over 12 countries. The business has created over 3,000 jobs globally, including their successful expansion into the North American market.
